The Written Apocalypse

Justin Oldham was interviewed by author and host Dee Cooper on The Written Apocalypse podcast, which airs on the Prepper Podcast Network (PPN).  During that one hour conversation, they talked about dystopian fiction, post-apocalyptic themes in books and movies, and, of course, our post-apocalyptic role-playing game (RPG) A.C.: After Collapse.  Topics also included some focus on our Young Adult novel Haven's Legacy.

It's a well-established fact that "gamers" are everywhere.  You can find them in every part of society.  With that in mind, we reached out to the preparedness community (i.e., "preppers") in an effort to think outside the proverbial box.  As working professionals, many people are called on every day to use role-playing tools to train new skills or resolve old conflicts.  That may seem far removed from the role-playing many of us do for entertainment,but it's not.  Using your imagination to understand what can happen, or why people think they way they do, is as productive as it is entertaining.
